Karen Espinosa grew up in New York. In her early days she would travel with her mother (Cleiry Cruz Ministries) until the age of 18 years old, where then she would move down to West Palm Beach, FL and marry her husband (Danny). She would began to lead worship at her local church Encountering Life. March of 2020 her life would change as she gets invited to her first Maverick City Music camp. Karen has become a key writer and artist for Maverick City Musica and TRIBL records. Today, she also takes part of a collective known as "Family Music" made up of worship leaders throughout the country.
Maybe now more than ever not just the Church but the world needs a plurality of strong diverse voices carrying messages that can help reshape the world. However we didn’t start out to be a diverse community for the sake of diversity. We simply became aware of our deep need for people that were so absent from our lives that their silence was deafening. Our response was to create space for that which we had so profoundly became of aware of.
Our need for each other.
